Gulshan Youth Club on Saturday (March 26) organised a set of events on the club ground to mark Independence Day.

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam inaugurated the programmes as the chief guest.

The Club organised various sports including football, cricket, badminton and basketball.

Club President Humayun Kabir, its general secretary Md Shawkat Hossain Jibon, EC members, residents of Gulshan area, among others, were present in the programme. 

In the second part of the programme, an art competition was taken place on the club ground in the afternoon. 

A large number of children took part in the contest.

In the evening, a cultural programme was arranged for club members and distinguished guests.
