Asia Cup 2022: Sri Lanka opt to bowl against Pakistan 

Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and opted to bowl against Pakistan in their Super 4 encounter on Friday. 

Two changes for Pakistan with Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah sitting this one out and Usman Qadir and Hassan Ali replacing them. Two changes for Sri Lanka as well as revealed by captain Shanaka with Dhananjaya de Silva coming in for Asalanka, and Pramod Madushan making his debut for Asitha Fernando.

The two teams had already sealed their spot in the final on Sunday in Dubai, having won their first two games in the Super 4 stage against India and Afghanistan. Both the teams had lost a match each in the group stages but have emerged the better of the final four and would look to gauge each other’s strengths and weaknesses one last time before the tournament concluder.
