Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) has expelled its former president and executive committee member Enamul Haque Khan Dolan.

In an emergency executive committee meeting on Tuesday (April 11), BAJUS decided to disqualify Enamul Haque Khan from all organization posts.

BAJUS Assistant General Manager (Human Resources and Administration) Md. Tanveer Ahmed signed a letter in this regard.

According to the letter, an emergency meeting of the executive committee was held at BAJUS office today. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to expel Dolan from all the responsible positions of BAJUS.

"Enamul Haque is under the surveillance of domestic and foreign law enforcement agencies as the mastermind of gold smuggling. He is also trying to create chaos within the organization. Besides, he is also involved in financial scams by damaging the reputation of BAJUS," the letter said.

He was involved in various conspiracies including taking benefits by misusing power, taking loans from various parties and not paying them, not performing duties properly, creating organizational chaos, the letter added.
