DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 39 points to stand at 4,329 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 166674with transaction at Tk 7,460 million.
    
 Of the issues traded, 210 advanced, 71 declined and eight remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 405 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were PTL, GOLDENSON, GHAIL, DELTALIFE, LANKABAFIN, CENTRALPHL, ARGONDENIM, RNSPIN and BDBUILDING.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,499 by gaining over 85 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 154 gained, 62 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
