The Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (Bajus) on Sunday (August 17) announced a reduction in gold prices by Tk1,750 per bhori.
According to a Bajus press release, the price cut comes as a result of a decline in the local market value of pure gold.

From tomorrow, the price of each bhori will be Tk 99,027, down from Tk 1, 00,777 earlier.
On July 20 this year, each bhori of gold price in Bangladesh cross the Tk 100,000-mark for the first time.
