DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) rose over 12 points to stand at 4,213 at 2:04pm on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 55,891 with transaction at Tk 1,850 million.

Of the issues traded, 108 advanced, 125 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

GOLDENSON topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 138 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,270 by gaining over 16 points at 2:04 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 74 gained, 71 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
