DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 25 points to stand at 4519 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 135211 with transaction at Tk 6,435 million. Of the issues traded, 178 advanced, 96 declined and 19 remained unchanged.

APOLOISPAT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 148 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ACTIVEFINE, SQURPHARMA, LANKABAFI, BENGALWTL, UCBL, MPETROLEUM, OLYMPIC, GOLDENSON and SPPCL.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,899 by gaining over 64 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 121 gained, 92 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
