DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over two points to stand at 4,699 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 87474 with transaction at Tk 4,129 million. Of the issues traded, 124 advanced, 132 declined and 37 remained unchanged.

SQURPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 264 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQUARETEXT, LAFSURCEML , MPETROLEUM, BSCCL, GP, SINGERBD, OLYMPIC, JAMUNAOIL and BSC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9196 by dropping over 24 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 64 gained, 128 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
