The country’s jewellery sector will be stronger under the apt leadership of Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) President Sayem Sobhan Anvir and a training institute will be established for hiking expertise of the goldsmiths.
Former BAJUS President Dr Dilip Kumar Roy made the statements speaking as the chief guest at a view exchange meeting with Bhola gold traders in the district on Friday (June 3).
He said: “BAJUS is working to bring back the lost heritage of gold industry in the country. Soon a jewelery design institute and goldsmith training center will be set up in the country”.
BAJUS Standing Committee on District Monitoring vice-president Anwar Hossain, assistant secretary Joynal Abedin Khokon and executive committee member Pabitra Chandra Ghose attended the programme as the special guests.
