The country’s jewellers authority has lowered the price of gold by Tk 1,086. The new price of best quality gold now stands at Tk 81,298 per bhori (11.664 grams) in the domestic market.
Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) said the new price of gold will be implemented from tomorrow (Tuesday).
The price of 22-karat gold has decreased to Tk 81,298 per bhori; 21-karat gold to Tk 77,624; 18-karat gold to Tk 66,485; and traditional gold to Tk 55,171.
