DHAKA: Education Ministry has taken an initiative to amend the ‘Public Examinations (Offences) Act 1980 (Amended 1992)’ to make it more up-to-date.

The ministry has posted the act on its website and asked for thoughtful opinions from every quarter within September 30 through e-mail (info@moedu.gov.bd).

Besides, hard copies of opinions can also be sent to the ministry directly.

This year, the exam of English (II) of HSC was postponed and later taken on a new date as there was an allegation that the question paper had leaked.

The probe committee, formed by the ministry, found evidences of question leaking of English (II) and mathematics.
