DHAKA: The North South University Sports Club (NSUSC) hosted the ‘Night of the Knights’ award giving ceremony on Wednesday night, appreciating the NSU students who had won inter-university tournaments in various categories of sports.

NSUSC organized the event under the guidance of faculty adviser Iqbalur Rahman Rokon and all club coordinator Professor Dr Emdadul Haq, says a press release.

The players were awarded with crests of appreciation and the best players were selected in different sports categories.

Trophies were given to the winners of the best player award in different sports categories. Following players got the respective honors:

Best player in Basketball was awarded to Sameen Ahsan
Best player in Football was awarded to Ryad Moyashir
Best player in Cricket was awarded to Saad Mosharraf Mular
Best player in Table Tennis was awarded to Raihan Kayser Sunny
Best athlete Female was awarded to Ashreen Mridha
Best athlete Male was awarded to Sameen Ahsan

State minister of Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of NSU Benajir Ahmed and Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Dr Amin U Sarkar, among others, were present in the award giving ceremony.
