Study in India under Self-Financing Scheme

DHAKA: The Government of India invited applications from eligible Bangladeshi nationals for admission in India under Self-Financing Scheme for the academic session 2015-16.

The courses offered are: MBBS/BDS, BE/Diploma in Engineering and B.Pharmacy/Diploma in Pharmacy.

The High Commission of India on Bangladesh issued a press release regarding the matter on Monday.

It said candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 50 percent marks in English in the qualifying examination (Grade-XII) as well as at least 60 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Math respectively (in case of BE/Diploma in Engineering) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) (in case of MBBS/BDS/B.Pharmacy/Diploma in Pharmacy).

Four complete sets of the duly filled-in application form along with copies of necessary certificates/documents attested by both Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Bangladesh and High Commission of India, Dhaka may be submitted on any working day (Sunday-Thursday) from 1200-1600 hrs from March 30 to April 19 at Education Wing, High Commission of India, House No.2, Road No.142, Gulshan -1, Dhaka-1212 (Tel: 9888789-91 Ex-311 or 142).

Candidates are required to present their original certificates for verification at the time of submission of their application forms in person, the release added.

The last date of submission of application forms is Sunday (April 19).
