DHAKA: A five-day admission fair of Bangladesh University’s (BU) summer semester has begun on Sunday in its Mohammadpur campus.

BU acting vice-chancellor Qamrul Hasan inaugurated the fair, where the admission seeking students will get necessary information and opportunities for the university’s 10 departments.

The students will also get chance to exchange their views with the university teachers during the fair.

Moreover, the interested students will get from 10 to 100 percent discount of tuition fee on their results of SSC and HSC.

According to the university authorities, students will also get a concession of taka from 5,000 to 10,000 from their admission fee.

The fair will remain open from 10:00am to 7:00pm till May 21.  

BU science faculty dean professor Dr Imamuddin, fair committee convener and also arts and law faculty dean Mostafa Kamaluddin and registrar Major (retd) Niaz Mohammad Khan, among others, were present, in the fair inaugural ceremony.
