DHAKA: Medical (MBBS/BDS) Admission Test will be held on October 2 for all public and private medical and dental colleges under academic session 2014-2015.

The decision came from a meeting, which was held at health and family planning ministry on Thursday with health minister Mohammed Nasim in the chair.

The meeting was attended by former health minister Professor Dr AFM Ruhul Haque, state minister for health Zahid Maleque, former adviser to Prime Minister Dr Syed Modasser Ali, health secretary Syed Manjurul Islam, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Professor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan, Health Services Directorate director general Dr Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque and BMA chairman Dr Mahmud Hasan, among others.

Senior officials of health ministry and health directorate, principals of various government medical colleges, representatives of Dhaka University, private medical colleges and medical and dental council were also present at the meeting.
