SSC, equivalent exams begin Examinees at the center

DHAKA: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2019 under ten education boards have begun across the country on Saturday morning (February 2).

This year, a total of 21, 35,333 students, including 10, 70,441 boys and 10, 64,892 girls, are expected to appear the examinations from 28,682 institutions.

A total of 434 students from eight overseas centres will appear in the SSC examinations this year.

The examinations are arranged at 3,497 centers. Exams are set for two shifts: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

Examinees must enter the examination halls 30 minutes before the examination begins.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni visited an SSC exam center in city in the morning.

Earlier, she assured of no question paper leakage during the exams, calling upon the guardians not to listen to rumors.

The government shut down all coaching centers during the SSC and equivalent examinations to prevent question paper leakage.
