DHAKA: Bangladeshi record label Sangeeta has released a brand new song of popular Indian Bengali singer Rupankar Bagchi.  

Nahid Shoma from Bangladesh has collaborated with Rupankar in the song titled ‘Chaichi Toke’.

The song has been penned, tuned and composed by Robin Islam. 

“Rupankar Bagchi’s songs meant to have excellent lyrics and tune; everyone knows it. Dada (Rupankar) has liked ‘Chaichi Toke’ very much,” Music director Robin Islam told banglanews.

“In one word, the song has been a very good one. The listeners can feel it whenever they give a listen to,” he added. 

The video was shot in old parts of Dhaka starring Arbin Sabbir and Bonne Hassan. It also has a glimpse of the artists.

Sangeeta opened the video on its YouTube channel on Thursday (Nov 8). 

Over the years, Rupankar Bagchi has delivered many big hits in Kolkata. His songs in recent Bengali films like Baishe Srabon, Hemlock Society, Jaatishwar and Chotushkone created massive response.
