DHAKA: Bangladesh cabinet adopts a condolence motion over the death of Subir Nandi and Khalid Hossian, renowned singers who are heralded as legends in the music industry of Bangladesh. 

The motion, placed by the cabinet division, has been adopted in the regular cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday (May 27).

Cabinet Secretary M Shafiul Alam told reporters after meeting that cabinet members recalled the noted singers’ contribution to music industry of Bangladesh and expressed its sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Meanwhile, the cabinet congratulated the women for jointly win the Bangamata U-19 Women’s International Gold Cup tournament. 

The cabinet also congratulated Bangladesh Cricket team for winning the tri-nation international tournament in Ireland.
