DHAKA: Actor Bappy Chowdhury sustained critical injuries while shooting for an action sequence of his horror film 'Danger Zone'.

The incident took place when Bappy was lifted by a crane, with safety belt tied to his chest, at Bhawal National Park Wednesday (July 24) noon.

He has the hurt after striking a tree in the hanging state. 

"Bappy has been sent to total rest after given first aid at a local hospital," Director Belal Sunny told Banglanews.

Shooting of Bappy's sequence will be resumed once he is okay, he said.
