DHAKA: A three-day-long Radio Asia Conference kicked off in Dhaka on Tuesday (Oct 29) with participation of 22 countries.  

The conference started at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka in the capital city around 10:15am. 

Information Minsiter Dr Hasan Mahmud graced the inaugural program as chief guest. 

Minister of State for Information Dr Murad Hasan, Secretary of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Dr. Javed Mottagi, Information Secretary Abdul Malek and Bangladesh Beter Director General Narayan Chandra Shill.

A sum of 212 radio and media personalities from 22 countries, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Egypt, Iran, Vietnam and India are taking part in the conference.
