A case has been filed against cricketer Nasir Hossain and his wife Tamima alleging that she tied the knot again without divorcing her ex-husband.

Rakib Hasan, who is reportedly the husband of Tamima, filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim on Wednesday morning.

The court recorded the plaintiff's statements and kept the case for review.

Rakib Hasan's lawyer Israt Hasan confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Earlier, Bangladesh all-rounder Nasir Hossain has tied the knot with Tangail’s girl Tamima Tammy on February 14.

A few days following their marriage, they have become embroiled in controversy.

Rakib Hasan filed a general diary (GD) at Uttara West Police Station after the marriage ceremony.

In the GD, Rakib mentions his 11-year marital life with Tamima, an air hostess of Saudia Airlines, and their eight-year-old daughter. He alleged that Tamima married Nasir without getting a divorce with him.
