Actress Pori Moni has been detained from her Banani residence in the capital on Wednesday evening with drugs.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted a drive at her residence on some specific charges and found drugs inside her house.

Before her detention, RAB members conducted a drive at the residence of Pori Moni in this afternoon.

Earlier, the actress went on Facebook live, stating that a group of people entered into her building and were knocking on the door of her flat.

But she did not open the door, said Pori Moni.

RAB members entered her flat around 4:30pm and requested her to switch off live streaming.
