Three dengue patients died and 859 more people were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease across the country in the last 24 hours Sunday (Nov 13).

In the 24 hours, 426 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, 433 dengue patients were admitted outside the capital.

According to DGHS, 2,024 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Dhaka while 1,251 other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.

Some 48,529 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 45,138 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, this year a total 202 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
