JBFH provides free medical service

DHAKA: Japan-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (JBFH) provided free medical services at Nawabganj upazila of the district on Monday on occasion of World Health Day-2014.

At least 750 patients got free medical services on Otolaryngology, Eye, Dental, Gynecology, Chest Disease, Medicine, Children sickness, blood pressure and sugar.

The programme started at 7:00am and continued till 1:00pm.

Chairman and Consultant Surgeon of JBFH Professor Dr Sardar SA Naeem told banglanews: “Serving the people of the remote area is our duty.”

Local MP Advocate Salma Islam, Chairman of the upazila Khandaker Abu Ashfak and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Dewan Mahbubur Rahman were among others present on the occasion.
