DHAKA: The intern doctors of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) attacked journalists while were performing duties at emergency department division on Tuesday.     

A few numbers of journalists were injured in the attack and the agitated doctors vandalized a camera of ATN News journalist Ataur Rahamn Himel and beat him.     

Later, they locked up the gate of emergency department which triggering sufferings to the patients.              

Earlier, the students of Dhaka University and intern doctors locked into a scuffle centering getting on a lift at Dhaka DMCH in the noon.

Following the matter, Hospital Director Brigadier General Mostafizur Rahman met the students of Shahidullah Hall and intern doctors at 12:30pm.   

On the other hand, following the incident some 40-50 students of DU vandalized the glasses of emergency department of DMCH and emergency services remained halted.
