RAJSHAHI:  A youth died of dengue fever while undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

The victim was, identified as Abdul Maleq, son of Golam Nabi, from Chapai Nawabganj sadar upazila.

Abdul Maleq was admitted to the hospital around 5 pm on Monday (August 12). Later, he was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. He died during the treatment at ICU, deputy director of RMCH Dr. Saiful Ferdouse said.

For the first time, a dengue patient died at RMCH.
