FARIDPUR: 61 dengue patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours in Faridpur.

However, 360 patients are having treatment in different hospitals. 118 were sent to Dhaka for better treatment.

Between July 20 and August 16, a total of 1,025 people were admitted to various hospitals in Faridpur after getting inflicted with dengue fever. Of them, 544 have returned home after receiving treatment.

“Necessary measures have been taken in all hospitals to treat dengue patients. Although the number of patients does not decrease, but the number of people who have recovered is very high. Faridpur’s Civil Surgeon Dr. Enamul Haque said.

He advised people to get treatment at the hospital without becoming terrified of dengue.
