Bangladesh on Tuesday (August 10) recorded the 264 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours raising the number of total fatalities to 23,161.

This the highest single-day spike for second time within five days.

On August 5, Bangladesh logged as many as 264 Covid deaths in a single day.

Besides, 11,164 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 13,76,322.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in last year while first death on March 18 in that year.
