Dengue: 31 hospitalised in last 24 hours

The country reported 31 fresh dengue cases in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning (June 15), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24 hours, 31 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, no dengue patient was admitted outside the capital.

According to DGHS, 90 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Dhaka while three other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.

Some 661 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 571 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
