DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, is set to visit Keraniganj upazila of the district on Thursday.

Lawmaker of Dhaka-3 constituency Nasrul Hamid Bipul and PM’s personal assistant Mojahidul Islam Mamun confirmed the matter to banglanews on Tuesday.

Party sources said the premier is scheduled to inaugurate Inland Container Naval-Terminal (ITC) at the bank of Buriganga River in Pangaon area of Konda union under Keraniganj Thana.

She will also lay foundation stones of ten new development projects in the area.

Later, Sheikh Hasina will address a rally at Jinjira Shaheed Freedom Fighter Nurul Islam Commander Chatter at 04:00pm on the day.
