Yunus a worthy Nobel Prize Winner

FROM KUALALAMPUR: Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak lauded founder of Grameen Bank Dr Muhammad Yunus saying he is a worthy Nobel Prize Winner.

Terming himself a follower of Dr Yunus, Najib Razak said, “Social business introduced by Dr Yunus is a strong weapon to change the society. He is eligible person to get Nobel Prize as he contributed much to the society.”

Razak came up with the observation while addressing the last session of second day of the 3-day long Social Business Summit at Kualalampur Convention Centre on Friday.

Najib Razak said, “Social business can solve many problems. It is impossible to solve every problem by the government. In this case social business introduced by Dr Yunus can play a strong role.”

Claiming Malaysia is a creative and innovative country, he added, “I believe in youths’ power. Youths will be entrepreneur because they have the ability and power. So I believe in social business. If youths go in power, all problems will be solved.”  

Malaysian Prime Minister gave 20 million Ringgit to build social business fund at that time. Youths form across the world welcomed his contribution.
