The chief executive officer of the Biman made the plea in a press release on Monday.

He added: “I can understand the religious sentiment of the people of Bangladesh, and would like to apologise for any offence caused, it was not our intention.”

Kevin also said, “Our intention was to depict Biman Bangladesh Airlines as a modern, service-oriented airline, with some great products, and hence the programme was targeted to be as per international airline standards.”

He further added: “We will review all such programmes in future to ensure they do not cause any offence, and I hope that the people of Bangladesh will understand that my intention was solely to help make Biman profitable as I committed to the Honorable Prime Minister and people of Bangladesh.”
