KHAGRACHARI: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina once again expressed her annoyance over frequent hartal on Monday.

The Premier made the assertion while addressing a public rally organized by district unit Awami League at Khagrachari Stadium.

She said, "BNP believes in politics of destruction and they do not know the language of peace. They are familiar with the politics of weapons, corruption and murder.”

Sheikh Hasina added: “The opposition party is creating trouble for people in the name of hartal and the activities of the opposition ruined peace in public life.”

The Prime Minister also alleged that the opposition leader is enforcing hartal day after day aimed at protecting the war criminals.

The Prime Minister said her government has taken measures so people can elect their representatives according to their choice in the next elections.

Earlier, Sheikh Hasina inaugurated a number of development projects and laid foundation stones of some new ones.

Awami League advisory council members Amir Hossain Amu and Tofail Ahmed, state minister for CHT Affairs Dipankar Talukder also addressed the rally.
