DHAKA: Airport customs authority recovered 37 Kilogram gold bars from a flight of Qatar Airways at Shahjalal International Airport of Tuesday morning.

Customs Assistant Commissioner Madhab Dev told banglanews, “After getting down all passengers from the plane, crews noticed two bags with huge gold bars under two seats of the flight.”

Later being informed from flight crews, customs authority recovered the gold bars.

Confirming the matter Airport Customs commissioner told banglanews, “The gold bars worth about Tk15 crore.”
