CHITTAGONG: Two people, including a youth, were killed under the wheels of a train at Bartakia and Foujdarhat of the district on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately after the incident.

Railway police sources said a train knocked a youth at Bartakia on Dhaka-Chittagong route and an old man at Foujdarhat.

Chittagong Railway Thana Officer-in-Charge Syed Yasin Farooque said the bodies were sent to hospital morgue.

Separate unnatural death cases were filed in these connections, he added.
