DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Thursday placed former President of Jatyatabadi Chhatra Dal Sultan Salauddin Tuku on a 20-day remand for police interrogation in five different cases.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Hamidul Haque passed the order rejecting the bail petition when Ramna and Shahbagh police stations’ investigation officers produced him before the court with 40-day remand plea in six cases.
On October 21, law enforcers arrested Tuku from a patrol car of BNP Chairperson’s Security Force (CSF) in front of BNP central office.
