NEW YORK: A 15-member delegation of British-Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce has been visiting New York and had a dinner at Bangladesh permanent mission of United Nation on Wednesday.
Representative of the permanent mission at United Nation Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen welcomed the delegation and expressed the accomplishment of Bangladesh to the UN.
He said, “Bangladesh has become a role model for the developing county as per the tremendous developments in health, education, poverty alleviation and disaster management.”
During the discussion after dinner, the business leaders talked on the social and business activities of the organization.
Shahagir Bokht Faruq, founder President and Mokim Ahmed, the incumbent president of British-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce lead the delegation.
