DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed Joy on Thursday said the BNP is no longer a legal political party but a terrorist party.

The adviser to the premier made the observation through his facebook post on Thursday afternoon.

Joy said, “I visited the burn unit at Dhaka Medical College Hospital to see the victims of the BNP’s arson attacks. It was absolutely horrific.”

He added: “Most of these innocent people have been burnt beyond recognition. Seeing the innocent children who were burnt, including a little girl, only a year older than my daughter, made me unbelievably angry. The people who did this are inhuman.”

Joy added: “There have been many such incidents in the past two weeks. Only monsters are capable of such heinous acts. This is terrorism.”

He further added: “The BNP is no longer a legitimate political party. They are a terrorist organization. All those responsible, including the very top leaders who ordered and financed these attacks, should be brought to justice and given the maximum punishment.”
