BSF abducted cattle trader in Thakurgaon

THAKURGAON: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) jawans abducted a Bangladeshi cattle trader from the Fulbari camp area in India along the Haripur upazila border area of Bangladesh on Thursday night.

The victim was identified as Abu Taleb, 39, son of late Saifuddin, hailed from Ruhia village of Haripur Upazila of the district.

Thakurgaon sector commander of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Colonel Mohammad Iqbal Hossain told banglanews that members of BSF-121 nabbed Abu Taleb from 366/3 number border pillar area.

We have sent letters to BSF for holding a meeting in this connection, he added.
