SAVAR: The Readymade garments workers on Tuesday morning again took to the street to press demand of implementation of government declared salary scale.

Sources said that taking position on roads in Palashbari area on Dhaka-North Bengal highway, agitating workers started vandalizing vehicles at around 8:45am.

In information, police rushed to the spot and tried to remove the workers which triggered a clash.

On the other hand, the authorities of over 50 garments declared their factories shut amid workers protest.

Additional police forces were seen in the area to avert any untoward situation.
