A Dhaka court on Wednesday (October 11) placed BNP's Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee on a four-day remand in a case filed over attacking police and vandalizing cars.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rashidul Alam passed the order after Dhanmondi police station Sub-Inspector Shahidi Hasan produced Anee before the court with a seven-day remand prayer. 

Police arrested the BNP leader from his Dhanmondi residence in Dhaka early today in connection with the case filed with Dhanmondi Police Station.
