RAJSHAHI: A schoolboy was killed and another two people were injured in a road accident at Bhugroil under Paba upazila of the division on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sayem Ali, 14, student of class-VII of Rajshahi Collegiate School and son of Sazzad Ali, resident of the area.

Witnesses said a rashly driven passenger bus collided head on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the area around 6:00am, leaving three passengers of the auto-rickshaw injured critically.

However, the injured were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where Sayem succumbed to his injuries at 6:30am.

Officer-in-Charge of Shah Makhdum Thana Hafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
