The death toll in a gas pipe explosion that took place at a petrol pump in the capital’s Mohakhali on December 6, reached four as another person succumbed to his injuries today (December 11).

The victim identified as Masum, 23, died at Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute around 8 am.

Earlier, the accident took place around 8pm on Wednesday (December 6). The next day, at 5:30 pm, Abul Khair died while undergoing treatment. Salahuddin died on Sunday night. Amir Hossain Shubo, 35, died at 7:30 am on Monday.

Dr. Tariqul Islam Burn Institute's resident surgeon confirmed the matter.
