International flights started landing at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after a delay of six hours caused by dense fog on Tuesday (December 12).
The airport director Kamrul Islam confirmed the matter.
A total of 11 flights failed to land at the airport due to heavy fog, he added.
However, these flights were redirected to various nearby airports, including Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok.
The delayed flights started returning to the airport from eight o'clock in the morning.
