Miscreants have reportedly set fire to a courtroom of Paikgacha Senior Judicial Magistrate's Court in Khulna early today (December 13). 

Khulna district Superintendent of Police Saidur Rahman confirmed the matter. 

Police and local people said that they saw fire at Paikgacha Senior Judicial Magistrate's Courtm when they went to the mosques for Fazr prayers.   

Later, they brought the fire under control.

The docks for the accused and the sitting place of the lawyers were burnt due to fire. 

Additional law and order forces have been deployed in the court district to maintain law and order.
