The home ministry today (December 14) said no political parties will get permission to carry out political meetings, rallies and programs from December 18. 

Department of Public Security of Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification in this regard today.

The notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry Habibul Hasan said, “This is to request that from December 18 till the end of polling necessary measures will be taken for carrying out any meeting, rally or any other kind of political program which may obstruct the election work or discourage the voters from voting.”
