The Australian High Commission in Dhaka on Wednesday (December 20) expressed "deep concern" over the arson attack on the Mohanganj Express train, that claimed four lives, according to spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Sehli Sabreen.

The High Commission shared a massage through X, saying: "We express our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in what appears to be a deliberate arson attack."

The High Commission wished speedy recovery to those injured.
