Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman said that law enforcement agencies are prepared to resist any sabotage attempt during the programees of BNP and Jamaat.

He made the remark after an open discussion was held on Thursday (December 21) in presence of the officials of the Dhaka district and some other surrounding districts. 

He said that the Election Commission (EC) has given various important directives to the law enforcers in holding the upcoming national election in a free, fair, and peaceful manner.

The discussion included effective role of the law enforcers in holding election without any violence or trouble by any third party and the steps to be taken against the wrongdoers.
