DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Wednesday dismissed another case filed against opposition BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia for her remark over Gopalganj district.

Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Nur, after hearing on the case, passed the order in the afternoon.

Earlier, President of ‘Awami Mukti Joddha League’ M Mujibur Rahman Molla filed the lawsuit against the BNP chief with Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court in the morning.

This is the second case which was filed on charge of defaming the dwellers of Gopalganj district, issuing threat and creating troubles in the country.

On Tuesday, the also court rejected another case against her in this connection.
