Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (January 6) predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions.

According to the BMD bulletin, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning. Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt temporarily due to thick fog.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 29.1 degrees Celsius at Teknaf while today's minimum temperature 9.7 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5:26 pm today and rises at 6: 43 am tomorrow in the capital.
